I have been a photographer for at least four decades, but never had a day that began with a double rainbow and ended with a ring around the moon. Rain over the island of Virgin Gorda at Little Dix Bay produced a double rainbow early in the morning, although the second rainbow never got past faint. Coming back from dinner that night, the taxi driver and I stared at an enormous ring around the moon. "What does it mean?" he asked? Beyond knowing it was ice crystals in the upper atmospher I had to google it. Changing weather condidtions are sometimes associated. Not this time. The next day was even more beautiful.
