Weird Watercraft II

By Kevin Manning

The latest addition to my collection of weird watercraft is these gentleman using a whiffle ball bat to swing at Asian Carp jumping up through their wake.  Asian Carp got into the Illinois River during the Great Flood of 1993.  They were used to clean catfish farm ponds and escaped during the high water.  They have migrated down the Illinois River into the Mississippi River and have a fondness for jumping up through boat wakes when the boat is traveling at an idle speed.  Just when you think you have seen it all something new comes along.
